£1000 Reward

Posted by
Sarito (Basingstoke, United Kingdom) on 20 September 2011 in Miscellaneous.

Happy ST!

The Watercress Line is the marketing name of the Mid-Hants Railway, a heritage railway in Hampshire, England, running 10 miles (16 km) from New Alresford to Alton where it connects to the National Rail network. The line gained its popular name in the days that it was used to transport locally grown watercress to markets in London. The railway currently operates regular scheduled services, along with dining trains and numerous special events throughout the year. The line is also well known for the facilities, staff and the quality of restoration work performed at Ropley MPD. - Wikipedia.

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

A brave offer for 1889 but probably a foolish one today. Someone would find something harmful that seemed so safe back then. A pretty shot.

25 Sep 2011 11:06pm

@Steve Rice: Indeed.. now that we are so advanced in science and technology... someone will find something wrong with it, for sure...
